Chocolate Sauce
My friend Karen is famous in our neighborhood for her chocolate sauce. This is great on ice cream. I like to make it for my neighbors at Christmas-time.
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 stick butter
2 cups powdered sugar
1 cup evaporated skim milk
Instructions:
In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, melt the butter and the chocolate chips. Add the powdered sugar and milk and raise heat. Bring to a boil until thickened (sauce should coat the back of a spoon). Remove from heat and cool. Serve over ice cream, fruit, brownies, etc.
Keeps in the refrigerator 6 weeks.
